What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve been riding the Full-Air Mips Helmet on long trail days where we climb for hours before dropping into technical descents. The ventilation makes a big difference on the way up, and the modular cheek pads help open things up even more when it’s hot. Once pointed downhill it still feels like a real full-face helmet with solid coverage and a secure fit."Long climbs, rough descents, and big mountain lines demand protection that can handle both sides of the ride. The Full-Air MIPS Helmet from Bell brings true full-face protection to pedal-powered trail rides, making it possible to earn the descent without sacrificing safety. Bell builds the helmet with a Fusion In-Mold polycarbonate shell to balance strength and manageable weight for all-day riding. Mips Evolve technology helps redirect rotational forces during angled impacts, while Dual Flow Ventilation channels keep air moving through the helmet on slow technical climbs. A modular cheek pad system allows riders to remove sections for additional airflow or install them for extra stability on aggressive runs. Trail-ready details complete the design. A two-position Flying Bridge visor accommodates goggles and eyewear storage, while a Fidlock magnetic buckle allows quick one-handed closure even with gloves. The Full-Air MIPS Helmet blends downhill-certified protection with pedal-friendly comfort for riders who climb to the top before sending it back down.
