What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore these on a full day of hard charging through variable snow, and the Dual Zone BOA Lockdown gave me heel hold that never loosened up, even on wide feet that usually struggle with lace up boots. The EST outsole made the board feel like an extension of my stance, and my feet stayed warm through a long day thanks to the DRYRIDE lining."Burton built the Photon BOA Wide Snowboard Boot for the rider who wants to push harder without their feet holding them back, especially those who have struggled to find a true wide fit that still locks down for aggressive riding. The Dual Zone BOA Lockdown routes lacing toward the heel for a secure, comfortable hold, so exploring steeper terrain or stomping a bigger landing never comes with a loose, sloppy fit. Underneath, the EST outsole eliminates the ramp angle for a more direct, connected feel to the board, while ReBounce and B3 Gel cushioning soak up chatter and hard impacts without dulling response. The Imprint 3 liner molds to your foot over time and works with DRYRIDE Heat Cycle lining to keep feet warm and dry through long days. A Vibram Traction Lug outsole adds serious grip for the hike up to that one more line. It is a boot built for wide-footed riders who refuse to hold back.
