What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I've worn the Merak WaveCel through a full season of variable weather and the vent system actually makes a difference, I can shut everything down on windy ridgelines and open it back up on warmer spring days. The BOA dial keeps the fit locked in even over a beanie, which is more than I can say for helmets I've used before."We push off the top of a windy ridge with temps dropping fast, then drop into a sheltered tree run twenty minutes later where things heat up just as quickly, and the Anon Merak WaveCel Helmet keeps pace with both. Built for riders who deal with a full range of conditions in a single run, this helmet adjusts as fast as the mountain does. The 19 active vents let you close things down when the wind picks up or open them wide when you're working hard on a climb or hike, with Snow Stopper fabric keeping snow out even with vents open. The in-shell 360° BOA Fit System dials in a secure, even fit around the whole head, and the Fidlock magnetic buckle snaps closed with one hand, even in thick gloves.
