What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"My favorite part about this setup is how little thinking it requires. I grab it after work most weeks for an hour on the flats near my house, no wax, no fuss, boots on and out the door."There's a version of skiing that doesn't need a race bib or a mountain pass, just an hour, some flat ground, and gear that doesn't get in the way. That's where the Atomic Savor XC Posigrip 25 Touring Ski Package w/ Poles lives. Step into the boots, snap into the Prolink Auto binding, and the whole process from driveway to trail takes about as long as it takes to decide to go. Once you're moving, the details stop mattering in the best way. The Posigrip base grips through a stride without a single swipe of wax, and the ski's wider shape keeps things calm on the little downhill rolls that show up along the way. The boot's water repellent upper and wide last mean an hour or three hours feel about the same on the feet, and the aluminum poles stay light in hand mile after mile, with a strap that lets go the second you're ready to stop.
