The Salomon Genesis 2 GTX Spike Shoe bites into ice with carbide-tipped spikes set directly into the sole lugs, built for winter trail miles where a standard tread pattern loses its grip. An updated activeCHASSIS and internal endoFit sleeve hold the foot steady through unstable, icy footing, while a GORE-TEX membrane and durable Matryx upper keep water and slush out through the coldest runs. All-Terrain contaGRIP tread and an optiFOAM midsole carry that same confidence onto the mixed wet, hard, and loose surfaces surrounding the ice itself. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I ran a glazed-over descent that would've had me sliding in a normal trail shoe, and the spikes bit in every single stride."
