What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I keep the 30L Packable Duffel stuffed into a corner of my main bag on every trip and it has bailed me out more times than I can count. At 8 ounces, it costs me nothing to bring, and when I inevitably come home with more than I left with, it carries the overflow without complaint."The best bag you bring on a trip is sometimes the one you almost left behind. The Matador 30L Packable Duffel lives in the bottom of a drawer, the corner of a suitcase, or tucked into the top of another pack, weighing next to nothing and taking up almost no space until the moment it earns its keep. That moment always comes, whether it is a market haul in Oaxaca, an extra layer of overflow on the way home, or a spontaneous overnight that needed just a little more room. At 8 ounces and packing neatly into its own pocket, this duffel disappears until you need it and then opens up to a full 30 liters of weatherproof, carry-anywhere capacity. Matador built it from 420D Bluesign recycled nylon with DuraGlide sealing zippers co-engineered with Zoom, keeping everything inside dry through rain, wet docks, and overhead bin chaos. A quad-compression strap system cinches the load down tight, while rubberized carry handles and an adjustable shoulder strap let you carry it duffel style or sling it cross-body depending on the situation. Anti-theft zipper loops on external pockets add a quiet layer of security, and the high-vis interior means you can actually find what you packed. Finished with Matador's Switchback Stitch, this is a packable bag with nothing throwaway about it.
