What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"Corduroy pants live or die by the wale count and the cut — too fine and they lose that classic texture, too wide and they feel costumey. The 11-wale here is the sweet spot. The fixed waist and button closure give it a cleaner, more intentional look than an elastic waist ever could, and the internal waist tab means the fit is actually adjustable without showing it. Pocket layout is genuinely practical — slash hand pockets, a welt side pocket, and a kissing welt back pocket. These wear like a proper trouser with the comfort of a casual pant."Corduroy has a way of making any day feel more deliberate. The Cord Jam Pant from Rhythm starts with a 100% cotton 11-wale corduroy that hits the right balance of texture and drape — structured enough to look sharp, soft enough to wear all day without thinking about it. The fixed waistband and button closure with a metal zip fly give it the clean front of a proper trouser, while the relaxed fit through the leg keeps things comfortable whether you're on your feet or sitting through a long afternoon. The pocket layout is one of the better details — slash hand pockets for daily carry, a welt side pocket, and a kissing welt back pocket that keeps the rear silhouette clean. Internal waist tab handles minor fit adjustments without advertising them. Rhythm trims throughout. A pant that works harder than it looks like it's trying.
