What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying"The ARW 106 is a ski that takes you seriously. The 106mm waist gives you real float on powder days, but the poplar core and 2. 5 Impact Edge mean it doesn't fall apart when the snow gets firm or chunky. I liked that it felt planted on steeper terrain without losing the playfulness that makes it fun to ski creatively. This is a ski you can grow with over multiple seasons."Who It's ForIntermediate to Advanced All-Mountain and Big Mountain SkiersSkiers who want a single ski capable of handling demanding freeride terrain while still leaving room for creative, expressive skiing. The ARW 106 suits riders who push into steeper, more variable conditions and want a ski built to hold up through multiple seasons of hard use. What It's ForAll-Mountain and Big Mountain TerrainThe ARW 106 is built for skiers who want to charge big mountain lines and still have fun on the way back to the lift. The 106mm waist handles soft snow and variable off-piste conditions, and the freestyle rocker profile keeps the ski maneuverable when the terrain calls for creativity. Why We Like ItFreeride Build with Freestyle DNAThe ARW 106 pairs a 100% poplar core with W3dgewall construction for a ski that skis smooth and predictable across a wide range of conditions. The W3dgewall sidewall creates a strong mechanical bond between the sidewall and core, contributing to the ski's planted, unified feel on demanding terrain. The 2. 5 Impact Edge is oversized and heat-treated to resist damage in aggressive situations — a meaningful feature on a ski meant for big mountain use over many seasons. Ash binding inserts add retention strength with a more sustainable material choice. The S7 base keeps maintenance low and speed consistent.
