The CAMP USA Shadow 9. 4 sits at a diameter that most climbers can project on all season without treating it like a race-day-only rope. The dry treatment keeps moisture and dirt from working into the sheath on damp crags or longer trad days, which is where rope lifespan quietly disappears. At 56. 1 grams per meter, it sheds real weight from the rack without the handling compromises that come with going thinner. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The 9. 4mm diameter is the reason I reach for this over a skinnier cord on days with a lot of falls. It handles repeated loading without going stiff or feeling beat up the way a sub-9mm will after a hard session."
