What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I keep this folded behind my van seat and pop it out whenever I need real seating at the crag. The wing nut hinge makes adjusting the angle simple, even after a long day of driving and climbing."A crash pad spends most of its life on the ground, but the Crash Pad Couch Frame from Escape Climbing gives it somewhere better to be between sessions. We set an existing pad into the frame, adjust the wing nut hinge to a comfortable angle, and suddenly the gear that just absorbed a fall becomes a place to sit and recover. It's a simple idea executed with real intention, built for climbers who spend as much time resting as they do climbing. Baltic birch construction holds up to the kind of repeated use a busy gym corner demands, while the fold down design means it collapses flat for transport or storage when space runs short. A built in handle makes moving it between spots painless, and laser engraved details add a bit of character to something that could have easily been purely functional. This version comes as the frame alone, ready to pair with a crash pad already in the quiver.
