What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The shoulder straps tuck away cleanly, and the telescoping handle stows in its own zippered compartment, making it easy to convert between modes while navigating my destination. The field-repairable wheels are the detail that sold me: spare axles are stored in the frame, so a busted wheel on the road isn't a trip-ending problem."Why We Like ItThe Black Hole MLC 34L Wheeled Duffel handles the airport as a rolling bag and converts to a backpack when the terrain calls for it. It meets the stricter carry-on requirements of smaller regional aircraft, which makes it a practical choice when overhead bin space is limited and checked bags aren't worth the risk. Internal mesh pockets keep gear organized in the main compartment, and a front stash pocket holds quick-access items.
