What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The BOA dial lets me fine-tune fit at the trailhead and again at high camp without taking my gloves off or fighting with frozen laces. The 3D Flex hinge keeps my ankle moving naturally on the approach so I'm not grinding through the boot on every step before the technical terrain even starts."The G2 EVO is built around a double-boot construction that keeps warmth where it matters on prolonged high-altitude exposure, while the overall package stays light enough to move efficiently on mixed terrain and long approaches. The Vibram outsole is compatible with automatic crampons, so the boot transitions from approach to technical climbing without a dedicated crampon-specific sole.
