Product Description
This Mauser Model 1953, chambered in .30-06 Springfield, is a bolt-action rifle with a 22-inch barrel. It has a 12 7/8-inch length of pull and an internal capacity of 5. No extras are included in the sale of this firearm. Originally manufactured by DWM in Berlin in 1908 as a rare 22-inch carbine for a Brazilian military contract, this rifle was later acquired by the Dominican Republic, where it was rebuilt at the Armería San Cristóbal arsenal and converted to .30-06, with the transformation completed in 1958. The rifle remains in very good condition. Its documented journey through three nations and multiple military service periods makes this a particularly fascinating Mauser with exceptional historical and collector appeal.
