Product Description
Manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern (W+F Bern), this Swiss Model 1911 straight-pull rifle is chambered in 7.5x55 Swiss and bears serial number 413991, placing its production around 1917. The Model 1911 was developed for Swiss military service and is widely respected for its smooth straight-pull action, excellent craftsmanship, and outstanding accuracy. Its long barrel, robust construction, and historic military pedigree make it a desirable addition for collectors of Swiss arms and military rifles. This example remains in good surplus condition for its age, showing honest handling and storage wear consistent with military service. The wood stock retains an attractive appearance with scattered marks and dings, while the metal components show a pleasing aged finish. Included with the rifle is a sling, adding to its period-correct military presentation.
