Chinese Jianshe Arsenal Type 53 Carbine chambered in 7.62x54R, the Chinese-produced variant of the famed Soviet M44 Mosin-Nagant carbine. Manufactured for military service, the Type 53 is prized by collectors for its Cold War history, rugged construction, and powerful cartridge. This example has been sporterized with a modern synthetic stock while retaining its original military action, sights, and side-folding bayonet.
