This 1884 marked trap door has a Serial Number of 520785. The walnut stock is in excellent condition with only a few dings and handling marks. Stock is marked with a crisp SWP / 1891 Inspector cartouche. There is a circled script P behind the trigger guard and the number 8 at the heel. The barrel retains strong inspection marks. The Federal Eagle is clear on the lock plate. The ramrod bayonet locks securely into both positions. The action shows the three position and tumbler function are all strong. This is a solid example for the shooter or martial collector.
