Like a dying panfish, the Berkley SlapGill Topwater lure appears to struggle mightily to right itself, only to flop back on its side, exhausted and quivering as it settles. It's hard to imagine any self-respecting bass passing up an easy meal like that. After all, the true-to-form body profile, the amazing paint job, and the SlapGill's side-to-side flopping walk are all just too vivid for opportunistic predators to ignore. And when the typically explosive strike comes, Berkley's ultra-sharp Fusion19 treble hooks seal the deal.
