Ruko Knives Socius Features The Ruko Knives Socius uses a flipper opening mechanism riding on a smooth ball bearing pivot system giving the blade fast fluid deployment with a simple flick of the finger. The 3.25 inch blade is made from 440C stainless steel a higher carbon steel than many budget folders use and carries a black oxide finish for both corrosion resistance and reduced glare. A fine grind on the blade s edge supports precise clean cuts for everyday tasks. Blade hardness in the 59 to 61 range gives the Socius strong edge retention holding up well to repeated daily use. The 4.5 inch handle combines black anodized aluminum with rubber accents delivering a secure comfortable grip whether the knife is used bare handed or with gloves. Ambidextrous handling through the flipper design means the knife opens and operates the same way regardless of which hand is drawing it. A low profile reversible pocket clip lets the owner set up carry for either side of the body adapting to personal preference. At 5.76 ounces and packaged boxed for retail the Ruko Knives Socius is a well built everyday carry folder for anyone wanting a fast opening durable stainless steel blade.
