Rolling Thunder Game Calls Thunderdome Features The Rolling Thunder Game Call Thunderdome pairs a hickory pot body with a slate calling surface a classic combination known for producing clear consistent tones across a wide range of volumes. Slate surfaces are prized by turkey hunters for their ability to produce soft realistic purrs at close range as well as louder yelps to reach distant birds. The hickory construction provides a durable resonant pot that holds up to repeated striking without losing its tone. At 10.63 in length and 7 in width the Thunderdome offers a substantial surface area that gives the striker room to work different calling patterns. The 9 oz weight keeps the call manageable in a vest pocket or call lanyard without feeling cumbersome during a long sit. Pot and striker calls like the Thunderdome remain a favorite among turkey hunters for their tonal versatility compared to diaphragm calls especially for hunters still developing their mouth-calling technique. The slate surface is also well suited to calling in damp or humid conditions where other surfaces can lose their edge. The Rolling Thunder Game Call Thunderdome gives turkey hunters a reliable traditional friction call for the spring woods.
