Retay Arms Gamelander Features The Retay USA Gamelander operates on a break action design built for the hunter who wants a dependable single shot rifle without the complexity of a repeating action. Its 20 inch barrel is finished in black chrome over a steel substrate a finish chosen for corrosion resistance in the field conditions hunters actually face. The steel receiver carries a Picatinny rail right out of the box so mounting a hunting scope takes minutes rather than a trip to a gunsmith for drilling and tapping. A simple hammer safety keeps the operation straightforward letting the shooter focus on the shot rather than a complicated manual of arms. The synthetic stock is finished in matte black and includes an adjustable cheek piece so the shooter can raise or lower their cheek weld to match whatever optic gets mounted on the receiver rail. That adjustability matters most once a scope is added since a fixed stock often forces an awkward head position that costs a hunter precision on a critical shot. The AIRY Recoil Reduction Pad System absorbs felt recoil from the .30-06 Springfield chambering keeping follow up shots comfortable across a long day of hunting. Built fully ambidextrous with a 14.37 inch length of pull and an overall length of 42 inches the Retay USA Gamelander suits both right and left handed hunters heading into the field for deer elk or other big game at an accessible price point.
