Remington Shotgun Ammunition Features The Remington Ammunition shotshell load pairs number 8 copper plated shot with a 1-1/4 ounce payload to deliver a dense consistent pattern suited to smaller fast flying game. The copper plating reduces pellet deformation during setback and travel down the barrel which translates into rounder pellets and tighter patterns at the muzzle. A muzzle velocity of 1300 feet per second gives the load enough speed to flatten trajectory on crossing shots without generating excessive recoil. The 2.75 inch shell length keeps the load compatible with the vast majority of 12 gauge shotguns already in hunters hands. Remington has built its reputation on ammunition that performs the same way shot after shot and this load reflects that consistency in a straightforward upland and small game configuration. The number 8 shot size strikes a balance between pellet count and individual pellet energy making it a versatile choice across a range of bird hunting scenarios. Boxed 25 rounds to a box it is sized for a day in the field without excess weight in a hunting vest. The Remington Ammunition 12 gauge load is available for sale at GrabAGun for upland hunters who want a trusted consistent shotshell.
