PTR 63 Features The PTR Industries 63 is built around a roller-delayed blowback operating system a design proven for smooth cycling and controllable recoil impulse rather than a direct impingement or piston gas system. Chambered in 5.56 NATO the rifle uses a nitride heat treated bolt carrier with a tungsten dead-blow weight hardware shared with full-auto bolt carriers for added durability under sustained use. The 16.25 barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and cut with a 1:7 right hand twist giving the shooter both muzzle device versatility and the stabilization needed for heavier 5.56 projectiles. A manual safety and an AR-pattern trigger grip housing keep the controls familiar to any AR-15 shooter picking the rifle up for the first time. Up top a 7 steel Picatinny rail provides a sturdy repeatable mounting platform for red dots or magnified optics while the M-LOK compatible aluminum handguard leaves room to add lights slings or vertical grips wherever they are needed. The rifle is finished in a durable powder coat over Parkerizing for corrosion resistance matched with a black polymer grip and a fixed black synthetic stock for a rugged no-frills exterior. Feeding from a 30-round magazine the PTR 63 gives shooters plenty of capacity for range sessions or home defense without reloading constantly. At around 8.5 lbs the PTR Industries 63 is for sale at GrabAGun for shooters seeking a dependable accessory-ready 5.56 rifle with a proven operating system.
