Primary Arms SLx MicroPrism Features The Primary Arms SLx MicroPrism is built around the etched glass ACSS Gemini 9mm reticle which gives pistol caliber carbine shooters holdover references calibrated specifically for 9mm ballistics out to realistic PCC engagement distances. Because the reticle is etched rather than purely illuminated the sight remains usable even without battery power adding a layer of reliability that purely electronic red dots cannot match. Thirteen illumination settings cover a wide range of lighting conditions and three of those settings are night vision compatible extending the optic s usefulness into low light and NVG supported scenarios. At 1x magnification through a 17mm objective the sight offers a fast both-eyes-open shooting experience similar to a traditional red dot while adding the backup reticle advantage of a prism design. The SLx MicroPrism mounts on the Aimpoint Micro footprint using the included 2.26 inch mount so it drops directly onto hosts already built around the H1/T1 micro dot pattern without an adapter. Its matte black finish and compact 2.48 inch length keep the optic s profile low and unobtrusive on a carbine s receiver. Constructed to hold zero under the recoil and handling a PCC sees in training and competition the sight is intended for daily use rather than occasional range trips. At 5.5 ounces the Primary Arms SLx MicroPrism is available for sale at GrabAGun as a rugged reticle-focused option for shooters running pistol caliber carbines.
