Noveske N4 Recon Complete Upper Features The Noveske N4 Recon centers on a 16 inch 416R stainless steel barrel with a 1:7 twist a combination chosen to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO bullet weights from lighter varmint loads to heavier match projectiles. A hand-polished Noveske Match Chamber and extended hand-polished feed ramps are built into the barrel to smooth feeding and improve accuracy potential. The mid-length gas system paired with a pinned low-profile gas block is tuned to run reliably across a range of ammunition while keeping recoil impulse manageable. At the muzzle 1/2x28 threads mate with the included Noveske Pig Pen a muzzle device designed for suppressor compatibility and forward sound signature reduction. The upper itself is a 4th generation billet 7075-T6 aluminum receiver finished in black Cerakote for a durable corrosion resistant exterior. A 15 inch NSR free-floating M-LOK handguard runs the length of the forend giving the shooter mounting space for accessories along the sides and bottom while a continuous Picatinny top rail keeps the sight plane uninterrupted from receiver to muzzle. An ambidextrous charging handle allows manipulation from either side of the rifle useful for both right and left handed shooters or for shooters working around obstacles. Paired with a full-auto rated bolt carrier group this upper is built at GrabAGun for builders who want a complete ready-to-run 5.56 upper backed by Noveske s reputation for barrel quality.
