Je Machine Tech SOPMOD Buttstock and Buffer Tube Features The Je Machine Tech SOPMOD buttstock traces its design back to the naval surface warfare center where it was developed to equip some of the nation s most elite warfighters in demanding field conditions. Molded from high strength impact resistant polymer the stock holds up to hard use while keeping overall weight manageable for a carbine or pistol build. An ambidextrous universal quick detach mounting point lets the shooter attach a sling on either side which matters for both right and left handed operators moving through varied positions. Watertight storage compartments built into the stock body give the user a place to carry spare batteries a cleaning kit or other small essentials without adding external pouches. A wide cheek weld surface supports a consistent sight picture while the recoil reducing buttpad softens felt recoil during extended range sessions. The included 6061-T6 aluminum buffer tube is machined to Mil-Spec dimensions with meticulous care given to each cut for a tube that mates cleanly with standard AR15 and AR10 lower receivers. Measuring 2.70 inches in height and 5.50 inches in width and weighing just 3 ounces the stock adds minimal bulk to a finished rifle or pistol. Shipping as a six piece set finished in black this package gives any AR15 or AR10 builder a proven combat stock and a Mil-Spec buffer tube in one straightforward upgrade.
