GrovTec USA Sling Adapter Features The GrovTec USA Sling Adapter is machined from steel giving it the strength to handle the repeated stress of carrying a rifle or shotgun on a sling without loosening or deforming over time. Its 1.25 inch loop size is built to standard sling swivel dimensions so it works with common swivel hardware already on hand rather than requiring a proprietary system. This makes it a straightforward solution for adding a sling mounting point to a firearm that did not ship with one or for replacing a damaged factory attachment. The adapter s steel construction also helps it resist the wear that plastic alternatives can suffer under heavy use. A black nitride finish coats the adapter for corrosion resistance and a durable matte appearance that blends with most firearm finishes. This coating also improves the adapter s resistance to scratches and handling wear compared to an untreated steel surface. Because it is a simple mechanical attachment point installation is straightforward and does not require gunsmithing tools beyond what is needed to mount standard swivels. The GrovTec USA Sling Adapter is a practical low cost accessory for hunters and shooters who need a reliable way to carry their firearm hands free.
