Geissele Automatics Reliability Enhancement Kit H2 Features The Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group is machined in Geissele s North Wales Pennsylvania facility from mil-spec 8620 steel and built to full-mass full-auto rated specifications for maximum durability. Its cam pin is machined from H13 medical steel and coated with Nanoweapon a chrome-nitride style coating that resists corrosion and wear far beyond typical mil-spec finishes. Extended upper rails on the carrier improve stability inside the receiver which Geissele states dramatically increases feeding reliability across a range of ammunition and conditions. The Stressproof bolt forged from Carpenter 158 Plus steel developed with Carpenter Steel metallurgists undergoes high pressure testing and magnetic particle inspection before being coated with Nanoweapon as well. Rounding out the kit the Super 42 braided wire buffer spring pairs with an H2 buffer weight to fine tune the rifle s cyclic rate and reduce bolt bounce for smoother more consistent operation. The Nanoweapon coating applied throughout the kit is applied at low temperatures so it does not alter the parts metallurgy while reaching a surface hardness equivalent to 82 on the Rockwell C scale. This hardness lets the coated surfaces reject carbon buildup and clean up easily allowing the rifle to run reliably with less lubrication between cleanings. Finished in black for a clean factory-style appearance the Geissele Reliability Enhancement Kit H2 is available for sale at GrabAGun for AR-15 owners seeking a proven thoroughly tested reliability upgrade.
