Fortis Manufacturing Match Grade Fluted Barrel Features The Fortis Manufacturing Match Grade Fluted Barrel uses lone rifling technology a single point cutting process that produces identical grooves for ultra precise concentricity to the bore. This level of precision has long been standard on longer AR barrels and Fortis brings that same technology down into the pistol market where it has traditionally been overlooked. The 416R stainless steel construction provides a strong corrosion resistant foundation while the titanium copper nitride coating gives the barrel both added durability and its distinctive copper finish. An 11 degree target crown protects the rifling at the muzzle and helps promote consistent bullet release for tighter groups. Chambered in 9mm Luger with a 1 in 10 twist rate this 4 inch barrel is a direct fit for the Glock 19 across Gen 1 through Gen 5 as well as the Glock 19X giving owners of nearly any 19-pattern Glock a drop in upgrade. At just 3.39 ounces the barrel adds no meaningful weight to the pistol while delivering a tangible accuracy improvement over a factory barrel. Shooters looking to run their Glock 19 harder faster and more accurately will notice the difference the unmatched bore concentricity makes in real world shooting.
