Faxon Firearms Enhanced Upper Receiver Features The Faxon Firearms Enhanced Complete Upper starts with a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver machined to Mil-spec AR15 dimensions so it accepts standard barrels handguards bolt carrier groups and other components without fitment surprises. Forging the receiver rather than casting or billet machining it produces a denser grain structure that holds up under the stress of repeated firing and hard use. A black anodized finish is applied over that forged aluminum body to resist wear corrosion and the scrapes that come with range and field use. Because the receiver is built to multi caliber AR specifications it serves as a flexible foundation for a variety of chamberings depending on the barrel and bolt a builder installs. A dedicated upper to lower tensioning screw sets this receiver apart from a plain mil-spec upper letting the builder dial out the play between the upper and lower receivers for a noticeably tighter more consistent fit. That tensioning feature addresses one of the most common complaints with standard AR receiver sets where a loose fit can introduce rattle and inconsistency. The receiver ships as a complete upper with a full completion kit including pins springs a hammer trigger disconnector and pistol grip along with a B5 Systems trigger guard so most of the small parts a build needs are already in the box. Whether finishing a first build or upgrading an existing rifle the Faxon Firearms Enhanced Complete Upper gives builders a tightened forged foundation backed by Faxon s reputation for precision-made AR components.
