Daniel Defense DD5 V5 Features The Daniel Defense DD5 V5 pairs its semi-automatic AR style action with a 20 barrel cut to a 1-in-8 twist rate a combination tuned to stabilize the longer higher ballistic coefficient bullets that 6.5 Creedmoor shooters rely on for extended range work. An overall length that adjusts from 38.375 to 41.625 lets the shooter tailor the stock length of pull to their body size and shooting position without tools. The ambidextrous 2-position thumb safety is positioned for fast natural manipulation regardless of which hand runs the controls a detail that matters in both competition and field conditions. Daniel Defense builds the DD5 V5 as part of its DD5 series a line developed around the same engineering standards the company applies to its AR-15 pattern rifles. The Mil-Spec+ Brown finish is applied as an other finish type a coating chosen for its durability against the scratches and wear that come with hard field use. Daniel Defense furniture completes the rifle s ergonomics from the pistol grip to the handguard giving the shooter a consistent well designed interface throughout the gun. At 8.9 lbs the rifle carries enough mass to help tame recoil during strings of fire without becoming a burden to carry into the field. Built around proven AR pattern ergonomics and chambered in a cartridge known for flat trajectories and strong long-range performance the Daniel Defense DD5 V5 suits hunters and precision shooters who want a dependable semi-auto rifle for sale at GrabAGun.
