CMC Triggers A2 Flash Hider Features The CMC Triggers A2 Flash Hider follows the classic birdcage pattern used on military and civilian AR-15 pattern rifles for decades with open prongs that disperse muzzle gas and reduce the visible flash signature during firing. Finished in black the flash hider matches the typical finish of most factory AR-15 barrels and handguards for a cohesive factory-correct appearance. Its 1/2x28 thread pitch is the standard for 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington barrels making installation straightforward on the vast majority of AR-15 pattern rifles without needing an adapter. The proven A2 geometry also helps redirect gas away from the shooter s line of sight keeping follow-up shots on target. Because this flash hider threads directly onto a standard 1/2x28 muzzle it is a simple way to replace a damaged worn or non-compliant muzzle device without any gunsmithing. Shooters building a retro-style or mil-spec-configured AR-15 will find the A2 pattern matches the look of original service rifles for an authentic appearance. The flash hider s compact profile keeps overall barrel length changes minimal which matters for shooters tracking total rifle length for legal configuration. For an affordable dependable muzzle device that restores or completes a 5.56 AR-15 build the CMC Triggers A2 Flash Hider is a solid choice.
