Bond Arms LVRB Levergun Features The Bond Arms LVRB Levergun reimagines the lever action rifle with a rotating bolt borrowed from the AR-15 platform giving it compatibility with AR-15 barrels bolts and magazines rather than the proprietary parts typical lever guns rely on. Chambered in .223 Wylde it safely runs both .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO ammunition through its 16 inch threaded barrel with a 1-in-8 twist rate. Most lever guns use a long lever throw but Bond Arms engineered a short throw lever system instead making the action smoother and faster to cycle than traditional long throw designs. Feeding from a 30 round magazine required an entirely new cam system since cycling a high capacity magazine through a lever action proved far more difficult than a standard 5 round tube. The rifle wears a free float M-LOK handguard for mounting lights lasers or bipods and a Magpul SGA buttstock configured to accept Remington 870 pattern stocks for further customization. Controls include an ambidextrous magazine release familiar to AR-15 shooters along with both a crossbolt manual safety and a grip safety for redundant safe handling. A Picatinny rail atop the upper receiver provides a mounting surface for optics and the anodized black finish covers the aluminum receiver for durability. Weighing approximately 6.4 lbs without a magazine and measuring 39.5 inches overall the Bond Arms LVRB Levergun delivers a genuinely new take on lever action design for shooters who want AR-15 ergonomics in a manually operated rifle.
