B&T SPC Features The B&T SPC runs on a short stroke piston system rather than direct gas impingement which keeps combustion gases out of the action and the receiver cleaner shot after shot. A three position adjustable gas block lets the shooter tune the system s cycling to match different ammunition and suppressor use a feature that matters on a 10.5 barrel running 5.56 NATO / .223 Rem at pistol length. The hydraulic buffer system smooths out the reciprocating mass of the operating group cutting down on perceived recoil and making the gun more controllable in rapid strings of fire. The 1:7 twist barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and finished in black anodize for corrosion resistance. A full length M-LOK handguard covers the 10.5 barrel giving the shooter a continuous free float mounting surface for lights foregrips and optics without touching the barrel itself. The receiver is finished in black hardcoat anodize for durability while the black polymer buffer tube and black polymer grip round out a lightweight utilitarian furniture package. Feeding from a 33-round magazine the B&T SPC gives the shooter a substantial on-board capacity for a compact pistol platform. At an overall length of 29.5 inches and roughly 6.67 lbs the B&T SPC delivers a genuine AR alternative built around proven piston-driven reliability for shooters who want something different from a standard direct impingement gun.
