Raw aluminum precision bored scope contact surfaces maximize grip on the optic and because the mount is never fully disassembled after boring the two sides maintain a true matched fit. Built in 20 MOA of cant gives long range shooters additional elevation adjustment range before running out of internal scope travel. A small Picatinny section on the front cap adds extra real estate for mounting accessories ahead of the optic. Separate rail clamping bars maximize grab on the Picatinny rail holding the mount securely under recoil while inset clamping feet allow for maximum mounting adjustment and full utilization of the available rail space. Steel guide pins between the base and caps aid in alignment during installation ensuring the mount seats consistently every time it is removed and reinstalled.
