DoubleTap Rifle Ammunition Features DoubleTap s .22 Hornet Varmint Tipped load uses a 40 grain polymer tipped bullet engineered to initiate rapid expansion the instant it strikes a target. This design is built specifically for varmint hunting where fast dramatic terminal performance matters more than deep penetration. Brass cased construction ensures reliable feeding and extraction across a range of bolt action rifles chambered in .22 Hornet. Consistent charge weights and careful quality control from DoubleTap help deliver the kind of accuracy varmint hunters need when shots are often taken at extended range on small targets. Packed 20 rounds per box this ammunition gives hunters a practical supply for an extended day in the field without running dry. The .22 Hornet cartridge itself has long been favored by varmint hunters for its low recoil and flat trajectory at typical engagement distances. DoubleTap Ammunition has built a reputation for careful load development aimed at maximizing terminal performance within each cartridge s natural capabilities. Hunters looking for dependable accurate .22 Hornet ammunition for small varmint control will find this Varmint Tipped load a strong option.
