It doesn't matter if you're grinding out miles of public land or working a short field - weight matters. At just 3.2 lbs, the Summit XT is on average 1.5 lbs lighter than any other bird hunting vest on the market, without sacrificing quality or durability. To put it in perspective: you can carry nearly a full extra liter of water before this vest weighs as much as a competitor's empty vest. For anyone seeking the best upland vest for public land hunting - where you're miles from the truck and every ounce counts - that advantage is real.MODULARITY & CUSTOMIZABLE LAYOUT - Your Vest. Your Way.There's no such thing as "one size fits all" when it comes to upland gear. The Summit XT is built on a PALs/MOLLE webbing platform, giving you a fully modular foundation to configure your kit exactly how you hunt. From the waist belt to the shoulder straps, the sides of the bird bag, and the exterior of the shell pockets - every surface is ready to accept accessories. Add what you need, skip what you don't. Whether you're setting up this upland hunting vest for a solo backcountry chukar trip or a weekend pheasant hunt with the dog club, it adapts to you.WAIST BELT - True Weight-Bearing ComfortThe foundation of any quality bird hunting vest is the waist belt. The Summit XT's contoured, hip-hugging waist belt is genuinely weight-bearing - holding your load rock steady and balancing the system front to back. Without a properly fitted, weight-bearing waist belt, a strap vest design is just theory. This one delivers.SHOULDER STRAPS- Streamlined and Non-ObstructiveOne thing your shoulder straps should never do is interf
