SHOTGUN: STEVENS FIREARMS BY SAVAGE ARMS MODEL 940D, SERIAL NUMBER NSN, BLUE / CCH, CASE NOT INCLUDED, SINGLE SHOT, 20 GAUGE, 26 Notes: Have you ever wanted to hunt squirrels, teach a youngster how to shoot, or just channel your inner 1960s rural farmer? Up for grabs is this Stevens Model 940D chambered in the soft-shooting, crowd-pleasing 20-gauge. This is a classic, side-lever, break-action single-shot. It represents a simpler time when you didn't need a 30-round magazine or a laser sight to get things done-just one well-placed shot and a healthy dose of patience. The Logistics Breakdown: There is no original factory box. Let's be honest: this gun was manufactured back when original boxes were immediately thrown into the woodstove to heat the house. If you are a collector who gets a thrill out of looking at pristine vintage cardboard inserts in your attic, this auction will break your heart. We will, however, ship this timeless piece of American iron to your local FFL securely wrapped in heavy-duty bubble wrap like a tactical burrito. Why This Simple Single-Shot Rules: * The Side-Lever Flex: Unlike standard top-lever break actions, the 940D features a unique lever on the side of the receiver to open the action. It's a great conversation starter at the range for anyone who appreciates weird, old-school gun engineering. * The Ultimate Trainer: Want to teach someone ammunition conservation? Give them a single-shot. Nothing makes a shooter focus on the basics quite like knowing they have exactly one chance before a very slow reload process begins. * Lightweight Utility: It weighs next to nothing, making it the perfect truck gun, barn gun, or walking-around-the-woods weapon. What's Included: * One (1) Stevens 940D 20-Gauge Shotgun (Fully functional, zero cardboard, plenty of nostalgia). * Our deep respect for the classics (Priceless).
