What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "I like these tights for hikes where the trail isn't always kind. The reinforced panels make a noticeable difference when brushing past branches or scrambling over rock, and the stretch feels supportive without being restrictive. They're comfortable enough for long days but tough enough for regular trail use." We pull on the Pack Out Hike Tight when our plans range from quick after-work hikes to longer days deep on the trail. Patagonia designed these tights to handle real-world terrain, blending all-day comfort with added durability where it matters most. They move easily with us on steep climbs, uneven descents, and everything in between. Inset abrasion-resistant panels at the knees and seat help stand up to trail wear, while four-way stretch fabric and a gusseted crotch keep movement natural and unrestricted. A ribbed waistband stays put without digging in, and flat seams reduce chafing on long miles. With secure pockets for essentials and a sleek, functional fit, these tights are built to keep us focused on the hike ahead.
