The Speedframe Pro Backfade Helmet is a performance-focused open-face trail helmet designed with input from professional mountain bike athletes. It has earned Virginia Tech's best rating (5 stars) in its Bicycle Helmet Ratings program and offers a market-leading feature set for trail protection. The helmet features Mips(R) Air Node protection system, a Low Friction Layer designed for fully ventilated lightweight helmets that reduces rotational motion and redirects forces away from the brain during a crash. Dual-density Varizorb(TM) EPS further enhances impact protection by spreading forces across a wider area. The BOA(R) Fit System allows for micro-adjustability to achieve a perfect fit every time you ride. The Ionic+(R) liner is antimicrobial, manages odor, and wicks moisture away from the head while remaining easily removable and washable. The one-hand adjustable visor is compatible with either sunglasses or goggles and includes a sunglass-specific storage solution.
