The Oboz Ousel Mid Insulated B-DRY Wide Hiking Boot takes the 3-season Ousel platform and builds it out for winter. A 200g Freeze Guard insulation layer and a taller, lined cuff hold heat in through snowshoeing trips and cold-morning dog walks, while a side zipper gets the boot on and off without wrestling laces in the cold. The B-DRY membrane keeps slush and snowmelt out from the first step to the last. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"My insole has a Mylar layer that bounces my own body heat back up at my feet, so even standing still on a cold trailhead my toes stay warm instead of going numb. The side zipper means I can get these on one-handed with a coffee in the other."
