A key feature of StaBALL HD is its temperature-insensitive nature, meaning it provides consistent performance across a wide range of extreme hot or cold conditions. It is also formulated with copper-fouling-reducing additives to help keep the bore clean during extended shooting sessions. The powder's precise metering characteristics, typical of ball powders, help handloaders achieve excellent velocity and low standard deviations, which are critical for match-grade accuracy. Winchester states that this powder can provide 75-100 fps greater velocity than other propellants in its class. It is ideal for cartridges such as the 6.5 PRC, 7mm Remington Magnum, and .300 PRC.
