Wilson Combat Tactical Hunter Features The Wilson Combat Tactical Hunter is built around a match-grade fluted 18 barrel tuned to run equally well suppressed or unsuppressed a detail that matters to hunters chasing game in states where a can keeps the shot quieter and easier on the ears. The Black Armor-Tuff finish protects the steel barrel and aluminum receiver from the elements during long days in the field. A 1:15 twist rate stabilizes .300 HAM R s heavier-for-caliber bullets a cartridge designed to hit harder than 5.56 while still running through an AR-pattern action. The direct impingement operating system keeps the rifle running reliably across a range of ammunition and conditions. A Wilson Combat M-LOK handguard wraps the barrel in a lightweight but rugged rail built for mounting lights slings and other accessories under hard use while the Picatinny rail atop the receiver gives a stable repeatable base for optics. The Wilson/Rogers Super Stoc adjustable buttstock lets a shooter dial in length of pull for their own build or storage needs and the BCM Starburst Gunfighter grip provides a secure textured hold in wet or gloved conditions. A two-position safety and the TTU M2 trigger combine for predictable repeatable control shot after shot. At 6.06 lbs and 33.5 collapsed with a 20+1 capacity the Tactical Hunter gives hunters and tactical shooters alike a large-bore AR platform built for serious use.
