Umarex SLA Features The Umarex USA SLA slug is built for .50 caliber big bore air rifles where shooters need a heavy well-constructed projectile to deliver meaningful energy on target at air rifle velocities. At 388 grains the SLA carries substantially more mass than typical pellets translating directly into greater knockdown force for hunting larger game with a big bore platform. The hollow point design is engineered to expand rapidly on impact maximizing energy transfer rather than passing through cleanly which is the goal for ethical humane hunting shots. This combination of weight and expansion profile makes the SLA a serious choice for hunters who have invested in a capable big bore air rifle. Each box holds 20 slugs giving shooters enough supply for sighting in practice and an actual hunt without needing to immediately restock. Umarex USA brings decades of airgun manufacturing experience to this slug line applying the same attention to consistency that the company is known for across its broader product range. Big bore air rifle shooters depend on uniform projectile weight and shape to maintain accuracy at the ranges these platforms are capable of and the SLA is built to that standard. For hunters and big bore enthusiasts looking for a heavy hollow point slug in .50 caliber the Umarex USA SLA is available for sale at GrabAGun.
