Ultramax Rifle Ammunition Features The Ultramax Subsonic load is chambered in 8.6 Blackout and built around a 300-grain hollow point boat tail match bullet engineered specifically for suppressed shooting applications. The heavy bullet weight combined with a boat tail design provides exceptional stability at subsonic velocities where lighter projectiles often struggle to maintain accuracy and consistent flight. This stability translates to tighter groups downrange and more predictable terminal performance when shooting through a suppressor. Precision assembly standards behind the load help ensure reliable cycling in semi-automatic suppressed platforms built around this cartridge. Each box holds 20 rounds of brass-cased ammunition giving a shooter a practical quantity for a range session or a hunt. The subsonic velocity keeps the bullet below the sound barrier eliminating the sonic crack that would otherwise accompany a supersonic round even when fired through a suppressor. This combination of controlled energy delivery and authoritative terminal performance makes the load well suited to hunters and shooters who prioritize quiet controlled shots. For any 8.6 Blackout rifle owner running a suppressor Ultramax s Subsonic load is purpose-built to deliver on that platform s core advantage.
