Trijicon HD XR Tritium Night Sight Set Features The Trijicon HD XR Tritium Night Sight Set builds on the popular HD Night Sight line with a focus on advanced target identification at increased distances. Each sight is self luminous combining tritium inserts with a photoluminescent paint outline that stays visible under a wide range of lighting conditions from bright daylight down to low light where a plain black sight disappears. The front sight uses a 2X brighter domed sapphire and tritium lens compared to the standard HD sight helping the shooter acquire the front sight faster during a draw. A thinner front sight post also opens up the shooter s field of view making it easier to track a target and confirm hits at extended range which matters as much in competition as it does on duty. The rear sight features a U notch that is both angled and serrated two details aimed squarely at reducing glare that can otherwise distract from a clean sight picture. Its black outline around green tritium provides clear contrast against the orange outlined front sight helping the eye quickly align both sights under stress. The orange front outline in particular draws the eye immediately cutting down the time it takes to confirm the front sight is where it needs to be before the shot breaks. Designed specifically for the M&P C.O.R.E. and M2.0 Optics Ready platform the set is built from steel for long term durability under repeated holster draws and daily carry. Because the HD XR set is a direct fit for the M&P C.O.R.E. and M2.0 Optics Ready footprint installation does not require any modification to the slide. Police and competitive shooters alike rely on this sight combination when they need a more precise engagement in any light and the self luminous tritium means there is no battery to charge or switch to activate before use. The combination of a fast bright front sight and a glare reducing rear notch gives shooters a dependable always on aiming reference whether they are working a duty rig a home defense pistol or a competition gun that sees hard daily use.
