Timber Creek Outdoors Glock Slide Cover Plate Features The Timber Creek Outdoors Slide Cover Plate is machined from aircraft grade billet aluminum replacing the factory plastic plate on compatible Glock pistols with a more durable alternative. It is built to drop directly into Glock Gen4 and Gen5 17 and 19 slides without modification making for a simple upgrade that most owners can complete themselves. The anodized finish adds resistance to wear and corrosion compared to the original plastic component. Because it is a true drop-in replacement no fitting or gunsmithing is required for installation. Finished in OD green this slide cover plate gives a Glock pistol a distinctive accent color at the rear of the slide standing out from the typical black factory finish. Many shooters use it as part of a broader custom color theme alongside other Timber Creek Outdoors parts. The aluminum construction is noticeably more rigid than the stock plastic piece reducing the chance of long term wear at that contact point. This slide cover plate is an easy affordable way for Glock 17 and 19 owners to add durability and personalized style to their pistol.
