Timber Creek Outdoors AR-15 Handguard Features The Timber Creek Outdoors Enforcer Handguard is machined from aluminum and runs 9 in length giving AR-15 owners a free float handguard that clears the barrel for improved accuracy potential over handguards that contact the barrel. Finished in OD Green the handguard gives a rifle a distinctive look that moves away from the standard black finish most AR-15 owners see on factory builds. At only 7 oz the handguard adds very little weight to the front of the rifle keeping the overall balance light and maneuverable for range use or home defense. The handguard is compatible with standard AR-15 uppers making it a straightforward upgrade for most builds. A barrel nut ships included with the handguard removing one more part shoppers would otherwise need to source separately to complete the installation. Installing a quality free float handguard is one of the most common upgrades AR-15 owners make both for the improved accessory mounting real estate and the accuracy benefits of eliminating barrel contact. The OD Green finish pairs well with other OD Green furniture for a cohesive build theme.
