Templar Knife Auto Assist Features The Templar Knife Auto Assist pairs a 3.5 inch tanto-style D2 steel blade with a button-operated assisted opening mechanism letting the blade snap into place quickly with one hand. D2 steel is prized among knife makers for holding an edge through extended use while remaining tough enough to resist chipping making it a strong choice for a knife meant to see regular field or daily carry duty. The black oxide stonewashed finish on the blade not only gives it a distinctive worn look but also adds a layer of corrosion resistance against moisture and handling oils. The part serrated edge gives users the versatility of a clean push cut along most of the blade while still offering serrations near the handle for cutting cordage or tougher fibrous material. The knife s 4.25 inch aged aluminum handle is built to be both lightweight and durable keeping the knife s total weight to just 3.70 ounces for comfortable all-day carry. Aluminum construction resists the wear and corrosion that can affect lower-grade handle materials while the aged finish matches the blade s rugged stonewashed styling for a cohesive look. At an overall length of 7.75 inches when open the Templar Knife Auto Assist is compact enough to carry in a pocket or on a belt clip while still providing enough blade length for everyday cutting tasks. This knife suits outdoorsmen everyday carry enthusiasts and anyone who wants a dependable quick-deploying folder with a hard-use tanto blade.
