Taran Tactical Innovation Firepower Base Pad Glock Magazine Features The Taran Tactical Innovations Firepower Base Pad works on full size double stacked Glock OEM magazines fitting models 17 17L 19X 22 24 34 35 and 45 in 9mm and .40 caliber. It is designed to work with the stock magazine spring so there is no need to source a separate spring kit when installing the pad. The added weight at the base of the magazine helps an empty mag drop free more easily which speeds up reloads during a stage or a duty string. Built to the USPSA 140mm gauge this pad keeps competitors within a legal profile for divisions that enforce the length limit. Installation relies on a patented push pin system that locks the pad to the magazine body without any extra parts or specialty tools. Shooters simply push the pin down slide the base pad onto the magazine and push the pin back up to lock it in place. The one piece design means nothing can be lost during disassembly which keeps cleaning and maintenance simple between matches.
