Steiner Nighthunter Features The Steiner Nighthunter is built around BaK-4 Porro prisms and 56mm objective lenses a combination that produces an exceptionally bright high contrast image in failing light. The proprietary Diamond Night lens coating pushes light transmission above 96 percent while a 7mm exit pupil matches the dilated human pupil at dawn and dusk for maximum visible brightness. The Sports Auto Focus system locks onto the user s individual vision so the image stays sharp from 20 meters to infinity without constant adjustment a real advantage when tracking moving game. A wide 441 foot field of view at 1 000 yards helps the user pick up and follow fast moving targets across open terrain. Contoured ErgoFlex eyecups block peripheral light and glare for a crystal clear comfortable view during extended glassing sessions and the Makrolon housing wrapped in NBR rubber armor stands up to drops and rough handling in the field. The Nighthunter is nitrogen filled and sealed waterproof to 5 meters so fog and moisture never compromise the internal optics in wet or cold conditions. Diopter adjustment from minus 5 to plus 5 allows shooters with varying eyesight to dial in a precise individual focus. The Steiner Nighthunter 8x56mm ships with lens covers a rain guard a cleaning cloth shoulder and neck straps and a carrying case giving hunters a complete low light optic system.
